John Thomas Vanderhoof

John Thomas Vanderhoof, age 89, of Cumming, GA, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020. John was born in 1930, to the late Cornelius and Helen Vanderhoof. He was a United States Navy veteran. John was an avid runner and ran in many races throughout his years. He loved working outdoors doing various landscaping duties. He enjoyed animals of all kinds and liked watching western movies. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Neal, Jim, and Gertrude Vanderhoof.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marie Vanderhoof; children, Wayne (Denise) Vanderhoof, and Brian (Linnette) Vanderhoof; grandchildren, Scott Vanderhoof, Sean Vanderhoof, Steven Vanderhoof, Todd Vanderhoof, and Alex Stone; great grandchildren, Mitchell Stone, Katie Stone, Logan Vanderhoof, Monae Vanderhoof, Hannah Vanderhoof, and Norah Vanderhoof; along with many other loving friends and relatives.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming, GA.
