Joel Tramel Cleveland, Jr.

Joel Tramel Cleveland, Jr. age 70 of Gainesville passed away October 2, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

Tramel was born April 4, 1950 in Gainesville to the late Joe Tramel, Sr & Annie Peeler Cleveland. He was retired from the Hall County Board of Education where he served in many schools around Hall County. Tramel was a member of the River Community Church in Murrayville and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Baker Cleveland & a son, Mark Cleveland.

Survivors include, daughter, Michelle (David) Williams; sister, Jeanette (Danny) Smith; grandchildren, Savannah Williams, Ronnie (Ashley) Adams, Craig (Anabel) Williams, Trina Williams & April (Pat) Thornton; 16 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild on the way. Special nieces who Tramel loved dearly, Amanda (Bud) Harris, Lyndsay (CJ) Smith & Kayla Smith.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday Oct. 5, 2020 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Rayburn & Rev. G. Stephen Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Wahoo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday Oct. 4, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
