Celma Ann Abercrombie

Mrs. Celma Ann Abercrombie, age 83, of Dahlonega passed away Thursday, October 1, 2020. 

Mrs. Abercrombie was born on September 2, 1937 to the late Francis L. and Barbara Ann Ferguson Smith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lowell "Abe" Abercrombie. Mrs. Abercrombie was affectionately called “Nanny” by her grandchildren. She loved to fish and enjoyed traveling to Washington and Yellowstone, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Abercrombie was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Kenneth and June Abercrombie, Port Angeles, WA, and Curtis and Lisa Abercrombie, Murrayville; daughter and son-in-law Tasha and Miguel Diego, Murrayville; grandchildren Heather Abercrombie, Selena Diego, Miguel Diego, Jr., and Christina Diego; brother and sister-in-law Johnny and Sandra Smith, Murrayville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara and Marvin Anderson, Dahlonega; aunt Marie Ferguson; special cousin Rachael Wilbank; nephew Jere Fields; and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.     

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church #2 Cemetery. The Rev. Les Fuller will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

When attending the funeral or visitation the family requests that you wear casual attire.
