Imogene Spivey Taylor

Imogene Spivey Taylor, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020.

Mrs. Taylor was born in Newnan, Georgia to the late Andrew Jackson and Janie Thrower Spivey.  In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Donald Taylor, and eight brothers and sisters.  Mrs. Taylor was a teacher at Griffin GARC and a member of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include children, Rocky Donald Taylor and wife Lynn, Cleveland; Tony Gene Taylor, Cleveland; Linda Jane Taylor Butler, Cleveland; grandchildren, Michelle Stanfield, Libby Taylor, Alizabeth Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Richard Taylor; great-grandchildren, Shane Prestridge, Savannah Prestridge, Alexis Taylor, Amber Taylor, Lillianne Taylor, and Abigail Taylor; great-great-grandchildren, Cole Prestridge, Layla Prestridge, and Isaiah McCard.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 and from 10-11 A.M. Wednesday, September 30, 2020 prior to the service.

Till we meet again, we will always love you. Gone but never forgotten.
