Jesse Simpson Jr.

Mr. Jesse Simpson Jr. was born June 27, 1947 in Rock Hill South Carolina but was a lifelong resident of Gainesville, Ga.   

He was a member of Trinity CME Church where he was a member of the Usher Board and the Hospitality Committee.   

He was preceded in death by his mother Ms. Lottie B. Hayden and his father Jesse Simpson Sr., his brothers Tony Cantrell, Eugene Allen, Lamar Cantrell, Victor Cantrell, and O.T. Harold Cantrell all of Gainesville, Ga.  

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife Annie Ruth Millsap, one son Calvin (Towanna) Millsap. Two precious grandchildren Ja’micah and Ani’yah, one brother Isaac ( Elease) Simpson of Jackson County. Four sisters Annie Barnes of New York, Gloria Jean Allen, Linda Simpson, and Ophelia ( Bobby) Parks all of Gainesville, Ga. A very special friend Michael Lee. And a host nieces and nephews. 

The visitation for Mr. Simpson will be Monday September 28th at Wimberly Funeral Home between 12-8pm. Mr. Simpson's Celebration of Life will be Tuesday September 29th at Memorial park Chapel. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
