Cody S. Wheeler

Cody S. Wheeler, age 23, of Buford, GA passed away on September 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin and Bonnie Wheeler, and Floyd and Dorothy Ferguson; aunt, Lola Angel Williams; and cousin, Josh Holman.  Mr. Wheeler is survived by his father, Shon Wheeler; his mother, Lisa Ferguson Wheeler; son, Reese Wheeler; aunts, Rhenia Braswell, Barbara Harper; uncles, Ricky (Amber) Holman, Randy (Mary) Holman, Robert Ferguson; great uncle and great aunt, Harold and Peggy Bennett; best friends, Dylan Moore and  Kyran Antwon; several cousins; very special cousins, Bradley Holman and Michael Tatro. Mr. Wheeler was born on December 2, 1996 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 2015 graduate of Mill Creek High School. There he was very involved in the wrestling team and was known as “Hercules”. Mr. Wheeler did cabinet work for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle. He loved being outdoors and was of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Flanigan Funeral Home in memory of Cody Wheeler to help with funeral expenses.
