Donald Perdue age 84 of Gillsville entered heaven Sunday Sept. 20, 2020 at the Northridge Health & Rehab in Commerce.
Donald was born August 13, 1936 to the late John Franklin & Rhodia Roberts Perdue. He retired from General Motors and after retirement worked at Hall Tire in Gainesville. He served his Country in the United States Navy and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Gillsville. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Eva Dale Perdue; grandson, Wesley Buffington; great grandchildren, Ian & Leah Buffington; brothers & sister, John F. Perdue, Jr., James L. Perdue, Wilma Jean Hill & Barnell Perdue.
Survivors include, step daughter, Wanda (Donald) Buffington; grandson, Eric (Kimberly) Buffington; great grandchildren, Devin, Trevor & Avery Buffington; brother, Tommy M. (Margaret) Perdue; sister in law, Alice Perdue and a host of other family members also survive.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday September 22, 2020 at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Dale & Eric Buffington officiating. He will lie in state at the graveside from 3:00 p.m. until the service time.
