Charlene Hanna Bartliff

Charlene Hanna Bartliff, age 84 of Peachtree Corners & Demorest, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 18, 2020 following an extended illness.

Born in Sardis, Tennessee on September 15, 1936, she was a daughter of the late James Aubrey & Trudy Lee Moore Hanna. Charlene worked in Human Resources at Safeco Insurance – A Liberty Mutual Company, where she retired after over 20 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed gardening, traveling the world, and hiking. Charlene was a member of the Kingswood United Methodist Church where she volunteered countless hours hosting events that included the Wednesday Night Suppers and the Homeless Ministries. Most of all, she loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Clayton Bartliff; brothers, Harold Hanna & Barney Hanna; & grandson, Christopher Brown.

Survivors include her children, Debbie & Dr. Robert Brown of Statham, GA; Mike & Marie Bartliff of Demorest, GA; Cindy & Avery Poe of Brookhaven, GA; grandchildren, Allison Bartliff, Natalie Bartliff, Lauren Brown, Tyler Brown, & Clayton Brown; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, & friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the V.F.W. Memorial Park Cemetery in Demorest with Rev. Dondra Davis officiating.
