Janice Deck Keller

Mrs. Janice Deck Keller, age 69, of Flowery Branch passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton.

Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Keller was born July 3, 1951 in Talladega, Alabama to Peggy Deck & the late Edward     Deck, Jr. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Thomas Hamilton. 

Throughout the years, Jan taught at various schools in Alabama and Georgia and served as Worship Leader at several churches. Most recently, she taught music lessons at Music Authority in Cumming, Georgia and was the beloved music teacher at Flowery Branch Elementary School, where she touched the lives of so many children with her love for music.

Mrs. Keller is survived by her husband, Stephen Keller of Flowery Branch; mother, Peggy Deck of Oakwood; daughter-in-law and grandson, Leigh Ann and Taylor Hamilton of Flowery Branch;  brothers & sisters-in-law, Edward & Cynthia Deck of Alpharetta and Steve & Jennifer Deck of Dallas, Georgia; nephews, Samuel Decator Deck (Alexa), Andrew Bennett Deck (Virginia); niece, Alison Clark: step-son, Scott and Melisa Keller, of Brea, California; step-grandchildren, Caedmon Keller, Adelaide Keller; step-daughter, Sherilyn Keller of San Luis Obispo, California.
