Pauline Nina Dills Shirley

Pauline Nina Dills Shirley, age 98 of Clarkesville, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2020.

Born in Franklin, North Carolina on July 14, 1922, Mrs. Shirley was the daughter of the late Madison and Nora Teems Dills.  Mrs. Shirley was retired from the Edward Flor Company and later worked at Habersham Mills.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shirley is preceded in death by brother Lyman Dills and sisters Mae Teems Kay, Ellen Dills Stancil and Elizabeth Dills Williams.

Survivors include daughters and daughter Betty Shirley Nusbaum (William P.) of Upper Marlboro, MD, sons Roger Shirley (Evelyn) of Mt. Airy, Terry Shirley (Jewell) of Clarkesville, Mike Shirley of Bowman, daughter Cindy Shirley Autry (Barry) of Clarkesville, as well as ten grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM, Monday, September 14, 2020 at Clarkesville City Cemetery with Rev. Connie Berry, officiating.
