Nell Winkler Lewis

Mrs. Nell Winkler Lewis, age 92, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020. 

Mrs. Lewis was born in White County to the late George and Bessie Etris Winkler.  In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Wallace Howard Lewis; brothers, Grady Winkler and Fred Winkler; and sisters, Grace Wood, Kate Morgan, and Pearl Alexander. She was a homemaker and a member of White Creek Baptist Church. 

Survivors include son, Dennis Richardson, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Judy Richardson, Cleveland; daughter and son-in-law, Vivian and Robert Maney, Cleveland; grandchildren, Amy Richardson, Cleveland, Matthew Richardson, Cleveland, Crystal and Leon Havenga, Dacula, Hannah and Baron Mullis, Bishop, GA; great-grandchildren, Brandon Richardson, Cleveland, Truman, Grace, Kate and Eleanor Mullis, Bishop, GA, Sydney and Hendrik Havenga, Dacula; and brother and sister-in-law, Talmadge and Shirley Winkler, Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday, September 14, 2020 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Lewis Fortner will officiate. Interment will follow in White Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon-2 P.M. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
