Sammy Peppers

Sammy Peppers, age 72, of Buford, GA passed away on September 10, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Elizabeth Peppers; brothers, Loyd Peppers, Luke Peppers, Glenn Peppers; sisters, Gladys Dudley, Runel Sutton, and Mary Nichols. Mr. Peppers is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Elizabeth Peppers, Buford; children, Reggie Peppers, Cleveland, GA, Chris S. Peppers, Sugar Hill, GA, Pamela D. Peppers, Buford; grandchildren, Dwayne Grissom, Tana Grissom, Sheyenne Peppers, Amanda Peppers, Reggie L. Peppers; great grandchildren, Irick Jones, Jaydan Watson, Yani Grissom, Sadi Grissom; brother, James Leonard Peppers, Hiawassee, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Peppers was born on January 19, 1948 in Gwinnett County. He was a 1965 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA. Mr. Peppers had worked for A C Smith Oil Company in Buford and Dudley and Sons Cabinet Shop in Sugar Hill. He was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be on Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Arthur Southerland officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until time for the service at 4:00 p.m.
