Mr. Roy Whiten age 82 of Riverdale Road, Toccoa passed away September 10, 2020 at his residence.
A son of the late Henry Benjamin and Lucy Mae Leopard Whiten, he was born July 1, 1938 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all of his life. He was employed with Big A Alignment for a number of years and later worked for Memory Mobile Homes. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by a grandson Michael Whiten.
Survivors include his wife Emily Hancock Whiten of the home, daughters and son-in-law Deborah Fowler of Martin and Kathy and Mike Crump of Carnesville, Georgia, sons and daughter-in-law Ben and Jenifer Whiten and David Whiten of Toccoa, sister-in-law Rosalee Whiten of Toccoa, seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Albert Hudson and the Reverend Stacey Penland officiating.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Chris Pitts, Jamie Pitts, Jason Pitts, Blake Crump, Mike Crump, Kevin Crump and Cory Whiten.
Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.
