Ronald Fred Dixon Sr

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Ronald Fred Dixon Sr., age 87, of  Winder, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2020. Mr. Dixon was born in Atlanta, Georgia, a son to the late Wayne George Dixon and the late Bessie Louise Campbell Dixon. Mr. Dixon was a business owner that specialized in railroad supplies, was a member of numerus railroad organizations and was a veteran of the United States Army.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by 4 brothers Wayne Dixon, Richard Dixon, Burton Dixon, Larry Dixon and sister Louise Posey.

Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife, Claudia Snipes Dixon of Winder; daughter, Natalie Diane Dixon and her husband, Matthew Walsh of New York, New York; son, Ronald Fred Dixon Jr.; grandson, Harrison David Dixon Walsh, and a number of numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Michael Dixon officiating.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home, prior to the service.

Guests are asked to maintain a social distancing of six feet and abide by the recommended guidelines set forth by the State of Georgia concerning public gatherings in regards to the Coronavirus outbreak.
