Richard Lamar Smith

Richard Lamar Smith age 50 of Gainesville passed away Monday September 7, 2020 at his residence.

Richard was born December 5, 1969 in Gainesville to Velma Dunn Smith & the late Loyd H. Smith. He served his Country in the United States Army and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include, mother, Velma Smith; sons, Clinton Smith & Jacob Smith; daughter, Breigh Ann Smith; sister, Renee Hughes; grandchild, Owen Smith.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday Sept. 10, 2020 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. All long haired, freaky people & tie-dye welcome.
