Donna Suzanne Guthrie

Mrs. Donna Suzanne Guthrie, 63, of Gainesville passed away Monday, September 7, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Pat Chisolm will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on February 7, 1957 in Gainesville, GA she was the daughter of the late Claude Bert Tankersley and the late Geraldine Moore Tankersley. She was a loving wife, mother and proud grandmother. Mrs. Guthrie was a member of Free Chapel Worship Center.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Guthrie is preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Strayhorn.

Mrs. Guthrie is survived by her husband, Allen Guthrie of Gainesville; daughters and sons in law, Leanne and Matthew Knight of Toccoa, Katie and Nicholas Hill of Gainesville; 2 granddaughters and 6 grandsons; sister, Sandra Kerr of Maryville, TN; brothers and sisters in law, Buster and Brenda Tankersley of Flowery Branch, Tony and Ellene Tankersley of Gainesville, Scott and Sandra Tankersley of Cumming and a number of other relatives.
