Barbara Faye Brock

Mrs. Barbara Faye Brock. 77, of Oakwood, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Kevin Pass and Rev. Brent Lord will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Born on February 17, 1943 in Ocala, FL, she was the daughter of the late Tulan and Lula Strickland Swindle. She retired from Chicopee where she was a spooler. She was a member of Flowery Branch Church of God.

In  addition to her parents, Mrs. Brock is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Brock; son, Randy Manning; daughter, Lisa Cash; brothers, Tom Swindle, Bill Swindle; sisters, Gene Simmons, Francis Roper and Bobby Nell Swindle.

Mrs. Brock is survived by her sons, Anthony Manning, Thomas Manning; son and daughter in law, Jamie and Michelle Brock; son and daughter in law, Duane and Amanda Manning all of Oakwood; daughter and son in law, Tammy and Wayne Bruce of Dawsonville; daughter in law, Brenda Manning of Deltona, FL; son in law, Larry Cash of Dahlonega; 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Brock, Duane Manning, Thomas Manning, Chris Brock, Brock Manning and Chad Manning.
