Evelyn Adams

After 93 years of life, Mrs. Evelyn Adams went to be with her Savior and to reunite with many beloved family members and friends on September 2, 2020.

Mrs. Adams was born in Bartow County to the late Fred and Audie Siniard.  In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Herman Adams, and her son, Lamar Adams, and brothers Charles, Carl and Jerry Siniard.

Mrs. Adams was a wonderful wife and mother, and she was blessed to be raised by her parents that gave her love and encouragement.  These wonderful traits remained precious to her, and she touched the lives of so many others as she owned and worked alongside her husband at Adams Grocery for 64 years.  At the center of her life was her faithful love of Christ and His eternal grace.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her daughter, Linda Adams Byrd; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Dr. Jeremy and Dr. Miriam Byrd, along with many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

The family would like to thank Friendship Health and Rehab along with friends and caregivers Cindy Alexander, Kim Blackburn, Annette Anderson and Ruby Adams.  Their presence brought much love and joy to her life.

Due to the virus, the family is having a small, private graveside service at Mt. View Baptist Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Dave Fortner and Rev. Dennis Turner will officiate.
