Malcolm Dale Carter age 64 of Lula entered heaven on Wednesday Sept. 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
Dale was born December 10, 1955 in Burkesville, Kentucky to Rebecca Grant Carter Melton & the late Malcolm Carter. He retired from Banks County as an Environmental Health Specialist. Dale was a Deacon at Liberty Baptist Church where he was a faithful member. He loved anything Kentucky Wildcats, but especially Kentucky Basketball. Dale was true family man and treasured making memories with his wife & family. He was an outdoorsman, loving deer hunting and talking about the hunt. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his loving wife, Carol M. Carter; son & daughter in law, Chris & Katlyn Carter; daughter & son in law, Jessica & Steve Payne; grandchildren; Chance, Skylar, Myla, Riley Rae & Beau; mother, Rebecca Melton; sister & brother in law, Joyce & Freeman West; several aunts, uncles & a host of other relatives also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday September 6, 2020 at the Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Stewart & Mr. Ken Morrison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 5, 2020 from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
