Mrs. Judy Kay Douglas Cowan, age 60, of Loganville passed away Friday, August 28, 2020.
Graveside Services will be held at Memorial Park South Cemetery in Flowery Branch. For the safety of family and friends the funeral will be only for immediate family (Mother, Siblings and Husband). Rev. Jeff Bagwell will officiate.
Judy Douglas Cowan was born August 25, 1960 to Shirley Douglas and the late Daniel Meredith Douglas in Olathe, Kansas. Over the years she lived in Texas, Arkansas, Lafayette, Louisiana, Gainesville, Forsyth and Loganville Georgia. She attended High School at Comeaux High in Lafayette, LA and College at Louisiana Lafayette University and the University of Georgia. Judy was a mother first and also an advocate for the Deaf and Disabled.
Judy Doulas Cowan is survived by her husband, Tim Cowan of Loganville; mother, Shirley Douglas of Gainesville; brothers, Robert L. Douglas of Olathe, Kansas and Danny M. Douglas Jr. of Gainesville; son, Tyler Coffey of Flowery Branch; daughters, Allie Coffey of Winder, Brooke English of Forsyth and Shelby English of Loganville; grandson, Dustin; nieces, Esther Douglas and Danielle Kies; and great-niece, Tegan Stringer.
