Buffie Michelle Phagan

Ms. Buffie Michelle Phagan, 47, of Dahlonega passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Taylor will officiate. Interment will be in Hightower Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 31, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Born on March 12, 1973 in Habersham County, she was the daughter of Linda Fair Rider and the late Robert Eugene Rider. She was employed with Hall County Fire Services where she was a billing clerk. She was a member of Browns Chapel.

In addition to her father, Ms. Phagan is preceded in death by her grandfather, Poppa Cecil Fair; grandparents, Daniel Rider and Bertha Pierce; the father of her children, Randy Phagan; and her niece, Autumn Rider Holton.

Ms. Phagan is survived by her sons, Anthony Phagan (Destiny) of Dahlonega, Andrew Phagan of Dahlonega; granddaughters, Destonie Rider, Hannah Kirkpatrick; grandsons, Triston Long, Jerome (JC) Phagan, Elijah Phagan; mother, Linda Rider of Flowery Branch;  grandmother, Etta Fair of Gainesville; sisters, Amanda Rider of Flowery Branch, Cheri Rider and fiancé, Jeremy Hall of Dahlonega, Nicole Rider of Flowery Branch, Becky Shubert (Michael) of Oakwood, Tara Miller of Dahlonega, Tracey Maney of Gainesville; brothers, Jody Rider (Denise) of Gainesville, Wayne Rider (Angie) of Gainesville; lifelong friend,  Bruce Roberson of Gainesville and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
