Delanie Nelson Williams Evans

Delanie Nelson Williams Evans (Delanie Evans),85, of Clayton, Ga. died at Cannon Wood Village (Tiger, Ga.) on 25 August 2020.  Delanie was born to Robert and Garland Evans on 18 September 1934 in Beulaville, NC.  Delanie proudly served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. He was predeceased by his parents, wife (Billie Evans), brother (Harry Evans) and granddaughter (Elizabeth Bruce). 

Delanie is survived by his five children: Edwina Evans Bruce (Keith), Katrina Evans Garrison, Delanie Evans, Jr., Sabrina Evans Sassoli, and Robert Mago Evans (Angela); four grandchildren: Alexandra Bruce, Charlotte Bruce, Isabella Garrison and Caterina Sassoli; one great-granddaughter, Felicity Bruce. He is also survived by siblings Omega Collins (Roger) and Bob Evans (Eileen).

Considering the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
