Manuel Salcido Escalera

Mr. Manuel Salcido Escalera age 62 of Gainesville, Ga passed away on Tuesday August 25, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday August 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Paul II Catholic Church with interment will be held on Saturday August 29, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Mark Starr will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday August 28, 2020 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday August 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Manuel was born on April 28, 1958 in Durango, Mexico to the late Eleuterio Salcido and Ofelia Escalera. He attended St. John Paul II Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Manuel is survived by his wife, Fidelina Chavez Salcido of Gainesville, children, Eleuterio Salcido Chavez of Gainesville, Raul Salcido Chavez of Gainesville, Manuel Salcido Chavez of Gainesville, Liliana Salcido Chavez of Oakwood, Victor Salcido Chavez of Gainesville, sisters, Juana Salcido Escalera of Mexico, Marisela Salcido Escalera of Mexico, brothers, Matias Salcido Escalera of Mexico, Jesus Salcido Escalera of Mexico, grandchildren, Guillermo, Raul, Alejandra, Valeria, Mariana, Diego, Nicole, Liliana, Victoria, Penelope, Raul, Jr., Ximena, Victor Manuel.
