Horace Shockley

Mr. Horace Shockley age 68 of Lula, Ga passed away on Monday August 24, 2020 at his residence following a sudden illness.       

Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 26, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.    

Horace was born on July 01, 1952 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Clifford Shockley and Willie Ree Brown Shockley. He was of the Non- Denomination faith and was retired from Shockley Logging. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Joey Shockley, and brother, William Shockley.   

Mr. Shockley is survived by his wife, Susan Shockley of Lula, daughter and son-in-law, Hollie Seawright (Scott) of Ashville, Alabama, son and daughter-in-law, Rodney Shockley (Michele) of Lula, son and daughter-in-law, James “Frog” Shockley (Denise) of Lula, grandchildren, Brooke Seawright, Lilah Seawright, Lexie Seawright, Steven Shockley, Mikayla Shockley, Allen Shockley, Cassida (Sassy) Shockley, Kaytlin Shockley, Brandon Shockley, Naomi Trusty, great-grandchildren, Kinsley Shockley, Horace “Ace” Shockley, EllieMae Trusty, and extended family member, Anthony Conner.
