Sung Ik Ji

Sung Ik Ji, 80, of Enterprise, AL, died Saturday, August 22, 2020. A private funeral service will be held at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Ji was born in Choonnam, South Korea in 1938. He moved to the United States in 1974 and resided in Daleville, Alabama initially before moving to Enterprise, Alabama. He worked hard all of his life and saved enough to eventually open Ji’s Barber Shop in 1988. He was a Deacon of the First Korean Baptist Church in Enterprise initially and then the Vision Baptist Church in Daleville, Alabama.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Soon Ok Ji of Enterprise, AL. His two sons; Dong Ho Ji of Sugar Hill, GA and Hoon Benjamin Ji of Troy, AL. His only daughter, Dong Lim Ji of Portland, OR. Mr. Ji had four grandchildren as well as three brothers and three sisters in South Korea.
