Daniel Alvarez-Escamilla

Mr. Daniel Alvarez- Escamilla age 73 of Dahlonega, Ga passed away on Thursday August 20, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday August 23, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John Paul II Catholic Church with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday August 22, 200 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Alvarez was born in Los Organos, Manuel Doblado, Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Irineo Alvarez and Ana Maria Escamilla.  He was a maintenance worker in the poultry industry and was of the Catholic Faith.  Daniel is preceded in death by his parents; Irineo Alvarez and Ana Maria Escamilla.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 74 years, Maria Montes- Alvarez; sons, Domingo Alvarez, of Dahlonega, GA, Rafael Alvarez, of Gainesville, GA, Jose Alvarez, of Dahlonega, GA, Daniel Alvarez, of Sweet Water, TN, Joel Alvarez, of Dahlonega, GA; daughters, Maria de Jesus Alvarez, of Dahlonega, GA, Anna Maria Alvarez, of Manchester, MO, Marta Alvarez, of Gainesville, GA, Lupe Alvarez, of Michigan, Janet Alvarez, of Cleveland, GA; 36 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives also survive.
