Wayne Eugene Jones

Mr. Wayne Eugene Jones age 69, of Lexington, GA  30648 passed away on Wednesday, August, 19, 2020 at Piedmont Health Care.

Funeral Service are scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

Wayne was born on February 1, 1951 in Gainesville, GA to the late Raymond Eugene Jones and Callie June New Jones.  He was retired from ConAgra Foods as the Purchasing Manager and was of the Christian faith.  He is preceded in death by his father; sister, Brenda Tyner and brother, Roy Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Jones of Lexington, GA; Mother, Callie June Jones, of Gainesville, GA; son, Jeromy Jones (Kimberly), of Marietta, GA, Herman Cronic, of Talmo, GA; granddaughters, Heather Wade, Jacquelynn Johnson; Grandson, Xander Jones; great granddaughters, Amelia, Elyse and Emma; sisters, Vickie Jones of Murrayville, GA, Suzi Hopkins, of Flowery Branch, GA; brother, Joel Jones, of Murrayville, GA.  A host of other relatives also survive.
