Jerry Edward “Ed” London age 76 of Gainesville passed away Thursday August 20, 2020 at his residence.
Ed was born on December 31, 1943 in Cleveland to the late Hugh Jason & Jessie Smith London. He was a brick mason and of the holiness faith. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Free; grandson, Dylan Drew; brothers, Abner & Lawrence London; sisters, Willie Wilson, Pauline Morrison, Reba Gibbs, Sally Smith, Vera Armour & Della London.
Survivors include, wife, Jackie London, daughters, Ashely Martin, Anita Drew & Debbie London; son, David London; sister, Thelma Green, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren & a number of nieces & nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 11:00a.m. Monday August 24, 2020 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Rider & Evangelist Misty Hicks officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m.at the Chattahoochee Baptist Church Cemetery in White County. The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday August 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
