Gracie Faye Grant

Gracie Faye Grant, 75, of Cumming Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on August 19, 2020. She was 75 years old. Gracie was a member of Salem Baptist Church and a retiree of the Forsyth County Board of Education. She was a wonderful wife, mother, friend and Nanny.

Gracie is preceded in death by her parents Maggie and Charlie Champion; brothers Frank, Walter and Edward Champion; sisters Yvonne and Magdalen Champion and Emma Spence, all of Albertville, Alabama. Mother and father in law Tabor and Dora Bell Grant of Cumming, Georgia.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 51 years, Thomas Grant. She is also survived by her Daughter and Son in-law Gina and Tony Estes of Ball Ground; Jessica and Eric Pruitt of Cumming: Anita and Ricky Burruss of Cumming; Lisa Anglin of Dahlonega; brother Cecil Champion; sister Dot Clemons and her husband Rick; in-laws Mark and Paulette Grant; Bobby Grant; Judy Carnes; Linda Radford; Edna Beard. Granddaughters include Rachel Estes of Ball Ground; Krista Burruss Cumming; Hannah and Craig Pruitt of Cumming; Heather and Kyle Lamb of Cumming; Grandsons include Thomas and Buffy Burruss of Cleveland; Jack Pruitt of Cumming; Elijah Pruitt of Cumming; Great Grand Sons include Jesse Lamb of Cumming; Heath Pruitt and Cooper Pruitt of Cumming; Jaxton Burruss of Cleveland; Step Grandsons Jance Terry of Cleveland; Cayson Duvall of Cleveland; Great Grand Daughter Kylie Grace Lamb of Cumming.

A memorial service will be held at Ingram Funeral Home, Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tony Estes, Rev. Tommy Estes and Rev. Kyle Lamb officiating the service and Rev. Eric Pruitt officiating Graveside. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service.
