Ruby Ward Cleveland

Mrs. Ruby Ward Cleveland, 87, of Clermont passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Dahlonega Campus following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Randall Hulsey will officiate. Interment will be in New Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on December 9, 1932 in Lula, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Ida Mae Pitchford Ward. She was a homemaker and a member of Free Chapel Worship Center.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cleveland is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cleveland; brothers, Hoyt Ward, Ernest Ward, Dude Ward, Raymond Ward; sisters, Eulene Sexton, Margie Hicks and granddaughter, Lori Browning.

Mrs. Cleveland is survived by her daughters, Diane Beck (Carlton) of Gainesville, Dale Jones of Clermont; sons, Ronnie Norris (Doris) of Murrayville, Danny Ingram (Glenda) of Dahlonega, Shane Cleveland (Sonya) of Gainesville; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; one great –great grandchild and a number of other relatives.
