Leroy Pruitt

Leroy Pruitt, 87, of Buford passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Leroy loved the Lord and lived by his faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. Leroy was the Senior Deacon at Corinth Baptist Church and a member of Buford Lodge #292 F&AM for 65 years.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mary Pruitt; daughters, Linda Holbrook and Ann (Mike) Peak; sons, David Pruitt and Garry (Tammy) Pruitt; sisters, Fern (C.T.) Evans, Ruby Bagley and Nancy (Ricky) Hood; brothers, Rev. Carrell Pruitt and Rev. Cecil (Montez) Pruitt; sister-in-law, Sandra Pruitt; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 21, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wilson Pruitt, Rev. Tim Pruitt, Rev. Kenneth Pruitt, Rev. Wayne Evans and Rev. Shane Pruitt officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
