Robert Edward Little

Robert Edward Little was born in Decatur, Georgia on August 21, 1954. He is the son of the late Hayward Little and Annie Mae Little. He attended school in Decatur and worked as a Master Plumber and Boiler Technician. 

Robert was actively involved in his children’s and grandchildren’s lives and loved them fiercely. His children called him daddy and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren called him Poppie and Pop-Pop. One word to describe Robert is fighter. He fought from the time of his three pound birth until the day he took his last breath. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his oldest brothers, Milton Little and Dexter Little. 

He is survived by his mother, Annie Mae Little; his sister, Cindy Little; the love of his life Shelia Little and their six children, Tiffany Moon, Loganville, GA, Anthoney (Kevin) Moon, Loganville, GA, Stephanie Malcom, Madison, GA, Justin (Bruce) Malcom, Madison, GA, Dustin Little, Monroe, GA, and Montana Little, Monroe, GA; 9 grandchildren, Kevin (KJ) Moon, Shelby French, Amber Loggins, Anthony (Tony) Loggins, Billy Joe (Joey) Goodman Jr, Matthew (Jacob) Goodman, Gracie Goodman, Willow Malcom, and Cooper Malcom, 2 great-grandchildren, Hailee Greene and Harrison Loggins; and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.   Butch Lee and Kenny Ridling from Sandy Creek Baptist Church will officiate at the service. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge, Ga.  on Friday. Due to Covid-19, the burial will be private.

For the service and visitation at the funeral home, social distancing will need to be observed for everyone's health and safety and mask are recommended.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Little, Anthoney (Kevin) Moon, Bruce Malcom, Cooper Malcom, Kevin (KJ) Moon, Billy Joe (Joey) Goodman Jr, and Matthew (Jacob) Goodman.
