Rev. Vernon Winkler

Rev. Vernon Winkler, age 84, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday August 18^th, 2020.

Mr. Winkler was born July 30^th, 1936 to the late Gordon Winkler and Rachael Gilleland Winkler.

Vernon was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and he was a beloved school bus driver for White County. He also worked as a farmer and owned his own sawmill.

He is preceded in death by his parents as well as siblings; Sue Winkler and Ishmeal Winkler.

Mr. Winkler is survived by his wife of 57 years, Lucille Collins Winkler: daughter and son-in-law’ Sherry Jean and Fredrick Janoski ; Son and daughter-in-law, James Vernon and Doris Winkler all of Cleveland, grandchildren; Samantha L. Janoski, Dalton J. Winkler, Danielle R. Janoski, Joseph V. Janoski; siblings; Irene Jarrard, Lois Seabolt, Bonnie Vaughan, Sandra McJunkin, Debra Grizzle and Charlotte Grizzle.

Graveside services are scheduled for Thursday August 20^th, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Antioch Baptist Church. The Rev. Wayne Turk will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 - 10:30 AM Thursday August 20^th at Barrett Funeral Home.
