Frankie Reed

Mr. Frankie Reed, age 69 of Gainesville, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center after a sudden illness.      

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Derek Watson and Rev. Tim Strickland to officiate the services. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Reed was born December 10, 1950 in Gainesville, GA to Roy Reed and Lucille Howard. He was self-employed all his life and was a member at Mountain View Baptist Church in Talmo, GA. Mr. Reed is preceded in death by his parents; brothers J.R. Reed, Larry Reed, Ronald Reed, Harold Reed; sister Jane Parks.

Mr. Reed is survived by daughter and son-in-law Lori and Jeremy Wilbanks of Alto; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Rachel Reed of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law Candis and Brandon Cobb of Gainesville; daughter Haley Reed of Gainesville; brother Ricky Reed of Mt. Airy; sister Nancy Miller of Gainesville; grandchildren Dillon Wilcox, Hannah Wilcox, Eli Wilbanks, Charlie Reed, Ryleigh Wilbanks, Bo Cobb and Josie Cobb; as well other relatives.
