Mr. Bradley Allen Wheeler, age 67 of Tugalo State Park Road, Lavonia passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Newark, New Jersey.
A son of the late William Allen Wheeler and Betty Lou Wheeler Jennings, he was born July 23, 1953 in Rustburg, Virginia having lived in North Carolina and later in Georgia for a number of years. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Army serving during Vietnam. He was married in 1982, was a truck driver with Long Run Express, a member of Liberty Baptist Church and an avid Bulldog and Falcons fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Jennings.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Sharon Fowler Wheeler; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and James Cagle of High Point, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Cortney Murray of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren, Andrew (Sara) Cagle, Lauren Cagle, Cassidy, Sarah, Aaron and Devin Murray; sisters, Robin Thacker and Cindi Parker.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, August 19, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Toccoa with The Reverend Stacy Penland officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Georgia National Guard Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346 Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to I.B.O.M., P.O. Box 16576, Asheville, North Carolina 28816 in memory of Mr. Bradley Allen Wheeler.
