Pastor Bobby Wright

Pastor Bobby Wright, age 69, of Buford, GA passed away Friday, August 14, 2020. He was preceded in death by wife of thirty-nine years, Mildred Hodge Wright. Mr. Wright is survived by children, Lebron and Melissa Wright, Atlanta, Derrick and Shawn Wright, Lawrenceville, Patrice Wright, Atlanta, Channing and Gabriela Wright, Orlando, FL, Meagan and Timothy Boson, Buford, Boyce and Shaira Wright, Lawrenceville, Joshua and Jana Wright, Los Angeles, CA; fourteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Thornton, Atlanta, Dollie Humphries, Detroit, MI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pastor Wright was born on March 6, 1951 in Atlanta, GA. He was a 1971 graduate of W A Fountain High School in Forest Park, GA. Pastor Wright was a veteran of the U. S. Army for five years, having served in combat in the Vietnam era. He was pastor of Back To The Bible Holiness Church in Buford for the past twenty-five years. He was a school bus driver for Gwinnett County Public Schools and also was travel coordinator for Tucker High School football team for three years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Bernell Henry officiating. Interment with military honors will be at GA National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Monday, August 24, 2020 at 2:30 p.m.. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 20 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
