George Frank Petty

George Frank Petty, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020. He was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Annie Kate Holland Petty; son, Wendell Petty; father, Eugene Petty; and mother, Vera Mae Martin Petty. Mr. Petty is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, William and Julie Petty, Buford, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Chuck Anders, Florida; and grandchildren, Brooke and Richard Taylor, Alabama. Mr. Petty was born October 23, 1936 in Atlanta, GA. He was a graduate of Bass High School. He had formerly worked for Owens of Georgia in Lawrenceville, GA and he worked for Rick Case Hyundai/Mazda in Duluth, GA. Graveside service and interment will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Grayson, GA. The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
