Narcissus 'Nadine' Thompson

Narcissus “Nadine” Thompson, 76, of Gainesville, Georgia, loving Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister and Aunt passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Lester G. Thompson, her parents Cevester and Mary Reynolds, her four brothers Ray Reynolds, Haze Reynolds, Gotto Reynolds, Garr Reynolds, and her two sisters Lilia Mitchell and Anna Woodrum.

Mrs. Thompson was born March 17, 1944 in Pippapasses, KY.  She later moved to Michigan then made her home with her family here in Gainesville, GA. Nadine was a homemaker and loved her family and extended family.  At any time, you could find her listening to music and dancing around the house.  She was a devoted Christian and she loved the Lord.

She is survived by her children Shawn Marie Baines (Terry), Brandon Matthew Thompson, Grandchildren Amanda Marie Roberts and Bailey Asher James. Her two great grandchildren were the “apple of her eye,” Rowan and Aliza Roberts.  She is also survived by her sisters Betty R. Parker of Gainesville, Kathleen Reynolds of Gainesville, Mary Lynn Little (Merle) of Nippa, KY, and her brothers, Randy Reynolds (Nyria) of Cynthia, KY,  and CV Reynolds (Kim) of Prestonsburg, KY.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday August 16, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Stan Peck will officiate.
