Maria Magdalena Marquez

Miss Maria Magdalena Marquez, age 73, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday August 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday August 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Maria was born on January 1, 1947 in Usulutan, El Salvador to the late Francisco Lopez Rodriguez and Graciela Marquez.  She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.  She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rosa Marquez; brother, Ricardo Marquez; niece, Amanda Marquez and nephew, Lorenzo Marquez.

Miss Marquez is survived by her sons, Rosalio Marquez, of California, Antonio Marquez, Houston, Texas, Francisco Marquez, El Salvador; daughters, Magdalena Marquez, of California, Deysi Marquez, of Atlanta, GA, Claudia Marquez, of Gainesville, GA; brother, Juan Marquez, of California; sisters, Doris Marquez, of Gainesville, GA, Carmen Marquez, Marina Marquez, both of California, 22 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of other relative also survive.
