Charles Rogers Rudd

Mr. Charles Rogers Rudd, 90, of Gainesville passed away Monday, August 10, 2020 following a brief illness.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Born on September 5, 1929 in Sarasota, FL, he was the son of the late O.D. and Gladys Childress Rudd. He was a retired typographer and a veteran of the US Navy.

Mr. Rudd is survived by his daughter, Margaret B. Rudd of LaFayette, GA; son and daughter in law, Foster and Sandra Rudd of Gainesville; granddaughters, Sara (Scott) Holz-Meister of Charleston, SC, Samantha (Phil) Hughes of Jefferson; great grandchildren, Mia, Dominic, Ari, EverRose and September Holz-Meister.
