Randy Jackson

Randy Jackson, age 64 of Lula, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020.

Mr. Jackson was born on June 5, 1956, in Hall County, to the late Christopher “Crip” and Dolly Jackson.  In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Jackson; brother-in-law, Glenn Taylor.

Randy was an avid poultry farmer for 33 years, growing chickens with Mar Jac and Global Poultry.  He enjoyed being outside working, hunting, or fishing.  He was a man of little words but the words he spoke, he meant.  Randy was a loving husband and father.  He will be remembered as a kind man with a gentle spirit who was a good neighbor to all.

Survivors include his wife, Regina Jackson; daughter, Jessica Jackson Crumley and Matt Pugh; sister, Susie Taylor; brother and sister-in-law, Sandy and Libby Jackson; lots of nephews and friends also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Steve Jackson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the funeral home.
