Douglas Leonard Partain

Douglas Leonard Partain age 88 of Gainesville formerly of Royston, passed away Friday August 7, 2020 at the Northeast Georgia medical Center, Gainesville.

Mr. Partain was born November 14, 1931 in Alabama to Leila Ragsdale Gravitt & Douglas Lafette Partain. He was the Owner/Operator of a video transfer business. He served his Country in the United States Air Force having serving in the Korean War. He was of the Pentecostal faith & preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Farmer Partain & his second wife, Ann Ford Partain, & a sister, Carolyn Blackman.

Survivors include, daughters, Carol Fabra (Zack) Shuman, Jackie Juanita (Mitchell) Dale, Michelle Suzanne Gonzalez; sons, Douglas Gordon (Guadalupa Lupita) Partain FL, Glenn Leonard (Shirley) Partain NC, David Wendall (Pamela) Partain NC & Mark Renee Partain SC; brother, Leon Partain; a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several step-children and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020 at 11am at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel and  Burial will be 3pm at the Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington.

The family will receive friends from 5-7pm Monday at the funeral home.
