Robert Lee Jackson

Robert Lee Jackson age 86 of Gainesville, GA passed away on August 8, 2020. Robert Lee Jackson Sr. was born on May 20th 1934, to the Late Cardie Austin- Jackson and Dennis Jackson. He was a member of Mt. Calvary holiness church. He attended Fair Street Elementary & E.E. Butler high school. Robert retired from Atlanta Dairy Milk company in 1999. Robert passed away on August 8th, 2020 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. 

During his lifetime Robert enjoyed watching the Atlanta Brave & Atlanta Falcons he also enjoyed watching wrestling. He loved to dance, bowl, he also enjoyed rides with his brother Joe. They always went to get ice cream. He will always be remembered by his contagious smile and his favorite quote, “What Did You Say”,” You Know What”,” Uh Huh”,” Hey Sugar Booger”. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. 

Mr. Robert is survived by his brother Willie B (Viola) Jackson & Jonathan (Hosenell) Jackson. His children Robert (Corintha) Jackson Jr, Dennis (Dorothy) Jackson, Regina Jackson, Jackie (Kenny) Watkins. 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. 

The visitation for Mr. Jackson will be Friday August 14^th between the hours of 12-8 pm at Wimberly Funeral Home. Mr. Jackson’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday August 15th at Mt. Calvary Holiness Church at 2pm.Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
