Brenda Martin Long

Brenda Martin Long, age 74, of Jefferson, GA, formerly of Buford, GA passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was preceded in death by parents, Bud and Ezery Mae Johnson, and brother, Jerry Martin. Ms. Long is survived by children, Lisa and Michael Compton, Johns Creek, GA, Brad and Amy Long, Hoschton, GA, Marc and Jennifer Long Jefferson, GA, Kevin Long, Elberton, GA; grandchildren, Jordan Compton, Kyle Compton, Amberly Long, Maddisyn Mae Long, Emily Long, Ella Long; brother, Buddy (Myrtle) Johnson, Hoschton, GA; sister, Diane Johnson Thompson, Pendergrass, GA; and aunt, Lois Stewart, Buford, GA.  Ms. Long was born on February 23, 1946 in Buford, GA. She was a 1964 graduate of Buford High School, and she was a retired secretary for Whitaker and Associates. Ms. Long was of the Baptist faith. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA with Rev. Danny Hill officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
