Marie Atwell Roberts, age 82 of Buford, GA, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 7, 2020 at 1:30 PM at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens. Pastor Danny Newbern will officiate. The Family will receive friends Friday, August 7, 2020 from 11 AM – 1 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Marie was preceded in death by her son, Craig Roberts. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, James Roberts, Buford; daughter, Robin Head, Loganville; grandchildren, Alex Head, Dwayne Roberts, Alyse Kemp; 5 great grandchildren. Marie was born in Concord, NC, was a lifelong resident of the metro Atlanta area and was of the Methodist faith. She was the first Special Needs Bus Driver for Gwinnett County Schools.
