Linda Marie Marshall Sexton

Linda Marie Marshall Sexton age 73 of Oakwood passed away Monday August 3, 2020 at her residence.

Linda was born March 17, 1947 in North Carolina to the late Lee & Marie Greene Marshall. She was retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. She was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church and loved her Sunday school class Sisters in Christ.

Survivors include, husband, Jerry Sexton of Oakwood; son, Kenny (Gina) Sexton of Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Jana (Chris) Fowler of Woodstock, Ginny-Lynne (Friedrich) Grundmann of Germany, Landon (Kelsey) Sexton of Kentucky; great grandchildren, Ella Fowler, Ava Fowler, Mia Fowler, Reid Fowler & Bristol Sexton.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday August 5, 2020 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Taylor & Rev. Zach Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
