Eldona “Polly” Watson

Mrs. Eldona (Polly) Watson resided in Winder,Ga. She was called home on August 2,2020. She joined Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age. She served faithfully until her health started failing her. She leaves to cherish her loving children. Mrs. Willie Nell (Samuel) Wilmont, Wallace (Cassandra) Watson, Mrs. Ella Watson all of Winder, Ga. She raised two of her grandchildren as her own Mrs. Debbie (Anthony) Walker of Stone Mountain, Ga. Mrs. Lisa (DeAngelo) Chaney of Grayson Ga.  

She preceded in death by her five children: Mr. James Waston Jr., Mrs. Doris (Dot) Lyles, Mr. Donnie Watson, Mr. Eddie Watson and Mrs. Percilla (Punk) Roberts.  

She was also a loving God Mother to Mrs. Patricia Walton, Rev. Charles Champion and First lady Ella gaither and a special niece Juanita Jennings her caretaker. Also, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

The visitation for Mother Polly will be Thursday August 6th at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Winder between the hours of 5-7pm. Mother Polly's celebration will be Friday August 7th at White Oak Springs at 11:00am. Professional Service Entrusted to Wimberly Funeral Home.
