Claudine Turpin Fricks

Mrs. Claudine Turpin Fricks, age 89 of Sweet Gum Road, Toccoa, GA, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 Pruitt Health Toccoa.

A daughter of the late William and Riller Smith Turpin, she was born July 1, 1931 in Habersham County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia. She was retired from the textile industry and attended Welcome Faith Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Fricks, Sr. in 2004, by two daughters, Mary Black and Sue Mullinax and by a son, Clyde Fricks, Jr.

Survivors include four sons and daughter-in-law, Jerry Banks, Bruce Banks and Donnie Banks all of Toccoa and Eddie and Melissa Fricks of Florence, South Carolina; nine grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, August 4, 2020, 2 O’clock p.m. at the Old Madison Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Ray Bohannon officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from noon until time to leave for the service. Due to the current health conditions of our community, social distancing must be observed.

Interment will follow in the Old Madison Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Claudine Turpin Fricks.
