Richard Stephen Dougherty, 85 yrs., of Buford, GA passed away July 28, 2020.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis Ann Dougherty, Buford, GA; daughters, Janice (Doug) Hickman, Jasper, GA, Linda (Garnett) Fender, Buford, GA; son, Bill Dougherty, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Ross (Cherilyn) Hickman, Shelby Hickman, Austin Hickman, Callie Dougherty, Jack Dougherty, Katie Fender, Ashley Fender.  Mr. Dougherty was born on October 5, 1934 in Jacksonville, FL.  He was retired from Bache Supply Co. as a controller.  There is not a formal service planned at this time.
