Awa McDuffie Martin

Awa McDuffie Martin, 57, of Gainesville, Ga. died on July 28, 2020.  A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at W.R. Strickland & Sons Chapel, Clermont, Ga.  Rev. Michael Green and Rev. Harris Borum will officiate the service.  The family will receive friends from noon until the funeral hour on August 1, 2020.

Awa is survived by her husband James Martin; her daughter Virginia Hughes and her husband Robert; her grandchildren Jadah Martin, Tristen Martin, Elijah Hughes, and Samuel Hughes; her brother Joe McDuffie.  Awa was preceded in death by her daughter Jamie Michelle Martin.  W.R.
